Yoga keeps you young and vital.
My calling is to teach what I know, which is “ageless” yoga, Ayurveda, aromatherapy and a flowing, independent lifestyle.
In India, yoga has been taught as an individualized system of self-care for thousands of years. A student comes in with problems, limitations and goals and the teacher would assess body, breath, lifestyle and beliefs. Together, they would create a practice to improve a student’s health and well-being. As the benefits of yoga are being documented in medical literature, this method of teaching is rapidly gaining acceptance in the healing community.
In private sessions, student and teacher can explore all aspects of yoga, which include the following tools and techniques:
- Postures and Sequences
- Meditation and Visualization
- Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Assessment
- Herbal Teas
- Essential Oils
- Self-study
These are but a few of the many choices of yoga techniques, which can be continuously adapted to reflect a student’s growth and changing needs during each stage of life. Yoga is not just exercise but a complete holistic lifestyle!
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda means “the science of life” and is India’s traditional medical and healing system. Dating back five thousand years, Ayurveda is best used as preventative medicine. This system creates a state of well-being and brings the mind, body and spirit back into balance through use of essential oils, herbs and lifestyle evaluation.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are the distilled lifeblood of the plant. Since ancient times, their chemical properties offered therapeutic benefits to the body and mind. Essential oils penetrate the cells of the body within minutes, and many have antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties.

Who benefits from yoga therapy?
For many years, medical doctors and scientists in India and the West have examined the therapeutic potential of yoga. After thousands of studies, it has been shown that a person can learn to control blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory functions, metabolic rate, body temperature and many other bodily functions. Therefore, yoga practice can help prevent, heal or alleviate conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, headaches, back pain and menopause symptoms.
Research shows that 80% of all illness is stress related!
Yoga is especially effective for reducing stress and anxiety. As you practice, you will notice increased muscular strength, lung capacity, balance, flexibility and normalized weight.
What would I expect from a yoga therapy session?
Sessions are based on your skill level, with a guarantee that you will leave relaxed, refreshed and renewed!
How should I prepare for a session?
Yoga should not be done with a full stomach. Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
